Individuals who require a basic understanding of the ITIL framework and how it may be used to enhance the quality of IT service management within an organisation. IT professionals that are working within an organisation that has adopted and adapted ITIL who need to be informed about and thereafter contribute to an ongoing service improvement programme. This may include but is not limited to, IT professionals, business managers and business process owners

Prerequisites: There are no pre-requisites for this course but the delegate is assumed to have a good understanding of IT.

Overview

This course is designed to introduce delegates to ITIL® best practice and is a pre-requisite for any further ISEB IT Service Management qualifications. It provides an introduction to ITIL® terminology and processes designed to deliver effective and efficient IT services The course format is based on formal lectures and group discussions, led by one of our experienced consultants. The lectures are supplemented by a series of assignments based on a case study and carried out in syndicate groups. The course material includes a number of sample questions and mock examination papers in preparation for the ISEB examination, which takes place on the afternoon of the final day.
